We’ve been keeping you updated every step of the way as this story unfolds, but now it seems John Galliano‘s fate is creeping up on him as officials release his trial date.

Galliano will stand trial in Paris on June 22, and will be held account for allegedly hurling anti-Semitic public insults towards a couple who were dining next to him in a restaurant at the time.

The official date was announced at a hearing held at the Palais de Justice yesterday. Galliano will be represented by his new lawyer Aurélien Hamelle of Metzner Associés, with Geraldine Bloch, Philippe Virgitti and Fathia Oumeddour acting as the plaintiffs, reports Vogue UK.
