John Galliano may be facing trial for his recent drunken anti-Semitic actions, but it seems his gripe is with
former lawyer Stephane Zerbib, who he’s currently suing for embezzlement.

However, this serious accusation made by the ex-Dior designer has come with a backlash from Stephane, who is counter-suing Galliano for defamation for the claims he made against him. Are you with us so far?

Galliano originally hired Stephane to run a company managing the rights to the designer’s image and gave him control of his accounts, but on April 13th John filed for aggravated breach of trust against his former legal counsel after he accused him of embezzling nearly three million euros (£2.6 million) from his own account.

The ashamed Gibraltar-born designer faces up to six months in prison and a fine of 22,500 euros (£19,800) for making racist and anti-Semitic remarks to a couple at Paris cafe ‘La Perle’ in late February this year, with a court ruling set to take place on May 12th stating when Galliano is to go to trial, reports the Telegraph.

It seems Galliano’s tangled web of legal mishaps isn’t coming to an end anytime soon…
