Victoria’s Secret goes glam in Miami
It’s that time again when the VS angels hit the runway in the sexiest lingerie ever created and we start frantically reinstating our gym membership. This year the 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show took place in sunny Miami at the Fontainebleau Hotel. Usher kicked off the show which paid tribute to old Hollywood and featured 68 glamorous outfits modelled by 35 gorgeous angels including veteran Heidi Klum, Miranda Kerr, Adriana Lima, Selita Ebanks, Doutzen Kroes and new mum Alessandra Ambrosio.
Adriana Lima must have felt like the luckiest lady alive as she strutted her stuff modelling the world’s most expensive bra – a $5 million Black Diamond Fantasy Miracle Bra designed by jeweller Martin Katz.
As always the lavish affair took place with a number of celeb guests in attendance including Paris Hilton, P Diddy, Kim Kardashian, Chloe Sevigny, Charlotte Ronson, Seal (of course!) and many more who for a couple of hours escaped the global financial doom and gloom and were transported into a fantasy world of corsets and skimpy lingerie embellished with sequins, feathers, jewels accessorised with knee high gladiators and sexy heels. Pure bliss!
