The Cut launches new iPad App

You’ll be glad to hear another fashion app for the iPad has just been released for your perfectly-groomed paws to get hold of – and for once, it’s free. Pretty neat, right?

With New York Fashion Week just around the corner, New York Magazine’s blog and go-to industry resource the Cut is launching its latest slice of fashion-forward technology, and suitably titled The Cut on the Runway, the savvy business move creates a whole new meaning to accessing the latest fashion news fast.

Featuring all of NYmag.com‘s fashion editorials and high-res catwalk images, it’s pretty much like a portable version of its website, only bigger, better and much easier to use.

But according to the Cut, the fun doesn’t end there. With fashion show videos, backstage photos, up-to-the minute fashion news, front-row snapshots, a Lookfinder tool to search through all the latest runway looks and find your favourite designer collections dating way back to 2002, there’s plenty to keep fashion fans busy.

Now there’s just one thing missing – our very own iPad…
