ASOS spring trend alert: Solaris

16th February 2011 10:54 am

For many of us, ASOS has become the one stop online shop for up to the minute fashion and affordable new trends, and this season is no exception with the launch of its new SS11 collection, Solaris.

Like many other designers this spring season, the collection revisits the Seventies era for some fun loving trend inspiration, and with floor-sweeping maxi dresses and palazzo pants featuring heavily throughout, it looks as though this year is going to be a groovy one, baby.

The sun-drenched colour palette of warm terracotta, cinnamon, tobacco and deep aquatic blue makes way for the perfect backdrop to summer, not to mention the abundance of gorgeous deep-set pleated maxi skirts, billowing blouses and flared trousers putting their stamp on our new season wardrobes.

And not to neglect the accessories, ASOS is offering an array of eye-catching towering platforms, tarnished brown wedges, two-tone sunglasses, delicately stacked rings and mini leather satchels to get you on your earth loving way.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!

Editor’s Pick
