Elle Macpherson’s ravishing retro look

2nd May 2011 12:30 pm

The school run for most Mums usually consists of throwing on whatever clothes are nearest whilst trying to hoard their kids out the door, but that’s not the case with Elle Macpherson, who’s probably the only woman on the planet who looks this fashionable when taking her kids to school.

But then again, most Mums don’t get papped first thing in the morning.

We love the retro ensemble that Elle was sporting in London last week. Fully embracing the hot Seventies trend, she made her legs look endless in high-waisted denim flares and stacked heels.

The simple light blue shirt and tan accessories – yes, that’s a Mulberry Tillie – resulted in a fun and fabulous Chelsea Girl look from the Aussie beauty, and we admit it, we’ll definitely be attempting it in the coming weeks.

Even her hair was a bouncy, honey blonde picture of perfection. She obviously woke up on the right side of the bed that morning.

Is Elle Macpherson screaming 70s siren?

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
