Lily Aldridge marries Kings of Leon’s Caleb in Vera Wang

16th May 2011 10:01 am

The world may still have royal wedding fever, but there are other famous people getting married too, y’know. Like Lily Aldridge, for example, who married Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill last week.

The Victoria’s Secret angel, 25, wed her king in an intimate ceremony in San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, last Thursday, where just family joined them for the exchange of vows – but a few of Aldridge’s fellow angels, including Alessandra Ambrosio, joined the couple to celebrate later.

The model bride wore a custom strapless Vera Wang dress with layers of chantilly and corded lace appliqué and raw edge swirling chiffon detail at the back, reports People, while her husband stayed slick in a charcoal Gucci suit.

“It was a perfect day,” he said. Aww. Congrats!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
