SEE Lanvin’s Christmas tree for Claridge’s

25th November 2011 9:02 am

Just last week, we told you that Lanvin’s very own Alber Elbaz had the honour of decorating the Christmas tree in the luxury Claridge’s hotel in London – a duty that had been fulfilled by John Galliano for the past two consecutive years.

We expected nothing short of fabulous from Alber Elbaz and his team and that’s exactly what we got. The Christmas tree is adorned with hundreds of bold and brightly coloured baubles, as well as Tinsel and classic lights.

But we all know that a Christmas tree isn’t complete without a Christmas star, fairy or angel sitting proudly atop it, and the Lanvin offering is no different. Not only do we get a large and in charge sparkly star with the word ‘Lanvin’ written in what looks like glitter glue, but we have a star of a different kind on it as well – a miniature Alber Elbaz! Or perhaps he is the Christmas fairy, seeing as he has his very own set of wings…

A Claridge’s maid and butler can also be found surrounding the Christmas tree to complete Alber Elbaz’s fashionable Christmas vision. Our trees will look so dull in comparison!
