Chanel Iman rents private island for her 21st birthday!
First of all, we’d just like to wish gorgeous Victoria’s Secret model Chanel Iman a very happy birthday today! Even though our 21-year-old selves are ever so slightly green with envy, we hope she has an amazing day.
The model has rented a private island just off the shore of Jamaica to celebrate her milestone birthday in style.“We’ve been talking about it all day,” she said on a Victoria’s Secret PINK shoot in Miami. “I’m going to Jamaica. Me, my family and my closest friends are staying at a really cool resort called Round Hill and I’m going to throw a reggae-themed party on this island.”
Unlike most 20-year-olds that plan their birthday celebrations months in advance, Chanel confessed that, akin to the rest of her life, her plans were dreamt up on the spur of the moment.
“My whole life is like last minute,” she said. “I never know what I’m really doing until maybe a week or even a few days before. This party was planned three days ago!”
If that’s what she could pull out of the bag in three days, we can’t even begin to imagine what Chanel could cook up if she had a fortnight to prepare. If she wants to take a break from strutting her stuff on the catwalk, maybe she could go into event planning?
