Michelle Obama recycles Thakoon for Easter Sunday

10th April 2012 12:30 pm

Kate Middleton isn’t the only famous face who recycles her outfits, oh no.

First Lady Michelle Obama looked positively radiant as she headed to St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington DC with the family on Easter Sunday in a deep red Thakoon dress which she wore back in 2009. She looked gorgeous in it back then, and it was no different this time round either.

Mrs O previously wore it on its own with a very voluminous hairdo, whereas this time round she was more conservative and church-appropriate as she paired it with a modest black cardi and wore her hair in an elegant bun.

The rest of the Obama clan were also a vision of loveliness too, making us believe that they really could be the best dressed family to have ever lived in the White House. Do you agree?

Do you love MObama’s recycled Easter frock?

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
