A closer look at Angelina Jolie’s $250,000 engagement ring

17th April 2012 9:06 am

Yesterday we told you that Brangelina finally got engaged after Brad Pitt gave his now fiancée a huge rock that he helped design, but now it’s time for a closer inspection at the ring in question.

The ring, which has been valued at around $250,000, reportedly took Brad and jewellery designer Robert Procop a year to create and perfect.

“Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realised over a year long collaboration,” the jewellery designer said. “He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so I was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina’s hand.

“Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality.”

Gorgeous, isn’t it? Brad and Angelina haven’t set a date for the wedding yet, but rest assured we’ll keep you in the loop as soon as they do.
