Oscar de la Renta is coming to Mayfair!

17th May 2012 10:12 am

Hot off the announcement of Alice Temperley’s London flagship store comes the news that Oscar de la Renta will also be bringing his clothing to our fine capital city!

ODLR will be opening his first ever (!!) London store on Mount Street – in the exact location of Nicky Clarke’s famous salon. Don’t worry, the hairdresser isn’t vanishing completely – he’s only moving up the road to Carlos Place, which is right next to Roland Mouret and Jenny Packham.

“Our arrival on Mount Street has been a well-considered process in terms of cementing the brand’s flagship store in the best location, and we are delighted with the outcome,” said Alex Bolen, a spokesperson for Oscar de la Renta. “The mix of local and international traffic on Mount Street is well suited to the brand.”

And there we were thinking that Mayfair couldn’t get any better for luxury shopping. We wonder which designer will be next to move in…

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
