Maison Martin Margiela for H&M is definitely happening!

12th June 2012 9:33 am

Yesterday, the internet was filled with speculation that H&M’s latest collaboration would come from Maison Martin Margiela… and despite the high street store claiming it “never comments” on rumours, a press release issued earlier this morning has officially confirmed it. Result!

Maison Martin Margiela is one of the most important and influential fashion houses of the past three decades,” said H&M’s creative director Margareta van der Bosh. “I am so excited by this radical collaboration which will give fashion lovers around the world the chance to wear special pieces by Maison Martin Margiela.

“This collaboration will be a great and memorable fashion moment. We will bring together the contrasting universes of the two houses in ways that will surprise all.”

The collection will be hitting H&M stores and online on November 15th. Yes it’s probably going to be a bit chilly that day, but you may need some tents and sleeping bags if you want to snap up the hottest pieces before anyone else!

On a scale of one to excited, how much are you looking forward to this?

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
