Established in 2005, and although a British label headquartered in London, Meli Melo boasts a luxury-loving Italian heritage – the perfect cultural intermixing, courtesy of Anglo-Italian founder, Melissa Del Bono.
Del Bono, who started her career in the fast-paced world of PR and luxury goods working for prestigious names that include Harpers Bazaar and Asprey Jewellery, soon realised that whilst working with some of the biggest brands in the world, she wanted in on the action, too.
Fast forward and you’ve got an array of stunning, chic handbags that appeal to the woman looking for an ‘everyday’ bag, right through to the cross-body bag championing fashionista.
Spotted on the arms of fashion powerhouse celebrities, such as Olivia Palermo (who champions the most famous design, the ‘Thela’ bag), Poppy Delevingne (‘Tallulah’ bag) and even our future queen, Kate Middleton (‘Cappuccino’ bag); Meli Melo designs are a repeated and recognisable reminder of a bag well-crafted and adored by the A-listers.
