Rihanna’s Styled to Rock show axed?

Looks like we won’t be seeing a second series of Rihanna’s Sky Living show Styled to Rock here in the UK, as it’s reportedly been axed due to poor ratings.

And the crew might actually be relieved to see the back of it, as rumour has it the production team found the scheduling to be a “nightmare” with all the celebrity guest appearances. Cheryl Cole, Katy Perry and Kanye West were among the guest stars…

“Scheduling all these popstars with our filming schedule was a nightmare,” a source told the Mail Online. “Rihanna’s diary was manic, and to be honest, after it struggled for viewers it was always going to be difficult to get her to agree to do another series.”

The poor ratings may have had something to do with the fact that the Bajan singer was only actually in three of the episodes – so her fans might have felt a bit short changed in that respect.

Still don’t completely mourn the loss of the show, as it might be headed to the States to show on the Style Network. Henry Holland and Nicola Roberts may still make the cut for the American version, although Rihanna has almost definitely been dropped for the potential second series.
