Ok so there’s only 11 days until actual Christmas, but we have to admit that awards season gets us more excited than any festive holiday. Sorry Santa! We revel in the excitement of staying up all night and keeping a beady eye on who is wearing who on the red carpet while predicting which famous faces will walk away with the coveted accolades.

The Golden Globes are the awards that ease us into awards season and really set the bar for the other ceremonies to come, so without further ado, let’s take a look at some of the lucky (and of course talented) names to be nominated for an award. Naturally we see a nomination for Anne Hathaway for her role in Les Miserables; and we must give a special congrats to Sienna Miller for landing a nomination for her part in The Girl.
