This week, Oxfordshire plays host to the launch of the British Designers Collective – a new pop- up store in Bicester Village offering discounted items by some of London’s finest designers – now that’s what we like to hear.

Holly Fulton, Jonathan Saunders and Felicity Brown are just a few of the design talents lending their skills and showcasing their work at this coveted British event.

“The BDC offers a great opportunity for new designers like myself to retail their excess stock to a huge consume audience,” says Fulton.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity and one that has generated great revenue in the past for those participating. I am always keen to be involved with my contemporaries in group endeavours and, to be honest, I am a bit of a fan of Bicester so it validates a day trip – purely for research purposes naturally!”

This fashion forward initiative is sponsored by the British Fashion Council, with other labels such as Preen, Markus Lupfer, Lara Bohinc, Richard Nicoll, Osman and Marios Schwab also confirmed for this glorious affair – all of whom are selling their collections at up to 60 per cent off their original asking price, reports Vogue UK.

The store will be open from March 31st until mid-May. What are you waiting for? Get the date in your diaries.
