Some of Kate Middleton’s previously worn clothes came out to play at the weekend, as she recycled a few of her treasured wardrobe pieces for Emily McCorquodale’s wedding.

(FYI – the bride is Prince William’s cousin – the daughter of Princess Diana’s sister Lady Sara McCorquodale… y’know, just in case you wanted to brush up on your royal history!)

Kate wore a floral Jenny Packham dress, previously worn on the North American tour she and Wills went on last year, and paired it with the raw silk Katherine Hooker Buxton Coat seen at last year’s Order of the Garter. And yep, you guessed it – those trusty nude L.K Bennett pumps once again served their purpose, as did the Whiteley hat which the Duchess of Cambridge wore to last year’s Epsom Derby.

Despite us seeing every single one of these items before, we can’t fault the way Kate chose to wear them again. She may have upstaged the bride had she decided to wear a brand spanking new outfit, don’t you think?
