Oh Marc Jacobs! You can always tell my time.

Everyday, like many of my early twenties counterparts, I rely on my mobile to make sure I’m aware of the time. My cell phone even acts as my travel alarm clock, ensuring that I am not late to work or, more importantly, a date. I never understood why people wore watches, when this mobile device held the key to all of my time management questions. Of course, this is until I laid eyes on this Marc by Marc Jacobs oversized round faced watch.

I know it doesn’t look like much, but I can’t help but love the subtleness of the piece. The white patent leather wrist band, the inconspicuous Marc Jacobs silver lettering around the numberless Marc Jacobs tagged face all enhance the simplicity that is this watch. I have never been one for embellished time pieces, so this is certainly just my style.

An obvious summer staple, the watch signifies all that is warm and reasonable that comes with the season. The light weight nature really makes a piece to wear with every outfit- day or night.

No need to start scraping together your pennies ladies, for $200 you too can flaunt this fabulous watch and have some money to spare. Available at Nordstrom.

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
