Burberry designs coat for Colette
Pretty Parisian fashionistas are in for a treat next month, particularly those partial to a bit of Burberry. The British brand has teamed up with French boutique Colette to design a limited edition jacket for AW10.
Of course, such a creation comes courtesy of the company’s legendary chief creative officer, Christopher Bailey, who’s designed the military-inspired, shearling-lined parker exclusively for the Parisian concept store.
And to make it all the more eBay-able covetable, the jacket will boast a label reading “Burberry Exclusive for Colette” – tres chic, non?
The limited edition Burberry coat will be available from Colette come June, alongside specially selected pieces from the London label’s sought-after AW10 Prorsum collection, WWD reveal.
We suggest French fans across the pond get their name on the waiting list… that jacket won’t stick around for long.
