Lady Gaga transforms into a butterfly for the cover of V magazine

12th May 2011 11:00 am

Lady Gaga‘s V magazine shoot cover has leaked onto the internet this morning, and she’s sporting a much softer look to the usually-spiky, prosthetically-enhanced style she’s been obsessing over lately.

The controversial Judas singer can be seen covered in sequins and feathers in order to look something like a butterfly for the new issue, shot by renowned fashion photography duo Inez and Vinoodh – and we have to admit, the end result is kind of intriguing.

The 71st issue is timed to Gaga‘s inaugural monthly column for the mag, reports Fashionista, which is no doubt filled with plenty of weird and wonderful things for you to get your brain around.

But one thing to note: this issue is dubbed as the Asia issue, and last time we checked, Gaga isn’t Asian (though she’ll probably have some spiel to say she was born from another mother, in Asia, or something).
