Victoria Beckham has given birth!

Victoria Beckham has finally given birth to the longed-for daughter her and husband David have always wanted – and they’ve named her Harper Seven Beckham.

Harper was born yesterday morning at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, and the whole family are undoubtedly excited to introduce their new bundle of joy into the world.

“I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham,” David announced on his Facebook page. “She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister. xx”

The middle name Seven came about to include her father’s sporting history within her name, after David played in the number seven shirt for both Manchester United and England.

The name Harper, which a spokesperson revealed the couple liked because it was an “old English name” also has links to the baby’s country of birth, as the name of renowned American novelist Harper Lee, reports Vogue UK.
