Jennifer Lopez covers US Vogue’s ‘shape issue’ in red hot Bottega Veneta

13th March 2012 9:36 am

Anna Wintour has only gone and got Jennifer Lopez to front the April issue of American Vogue (which incidentally happens to be the magazine’s annual shape issue) wearing a red hot Bottega Veneta dress from the spring/summer 2012 catwalk.

There are few other cover stars we can think of that would be better to front the shape issue – kudos to Anna for not going for a stick thin model and for opting for a gorgeous, voluptuous real woman instead.

Mario Testino is of course, the genius behind the camera lens, which makes sense seeing as J-Lo was recently papped posing for the legendary photographer for an unknown project.

Jennifer apparently chats divorce, babies and of course, maintaing that flawless, enviable body, which means the editorial is not to be missed!

A blue sky and oceanic backdrop, red dress and a sexy Latina is the perfect combination for an April shape issue, wouldn’t you agree? Plus, we have every faith that the editorial pictures will be just as, if not more, beautiful.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
