Alexa Chung launches British Designers Collective pop up shop at Bicester Village

22nd March 2012 9:36 am

As part of her new duties as a British Designers Collective ambassador, Alexa Chung headed for Bicester Village yesterday to help launch its exclusive pop up shop which will be open for six weeks until May 9th!

“I’m really proud to be supporting the British Designers Collective on this Bicester pop-up store,” Alexa said yesterday. “It features some really exciting and amazing designers this year, and I can’t wait to have a good shop. You’ll find me rummaging through the rails!”

You can expect to find designer gear from some of London Fashion Week’s greatest designers, including the likes of Peter Pilotto, Holly Fulton, Jonathan Saunders, Nicholas Kirkwood and Marios Schwab. And did we mention they all came with an “up to 60% off” discount tag?

How great does Alexa Chung look at the launch by the way? She wore a bright floral Celine skirt with an adorable Bella Freud jumper that had “Je t’aime Jane” on the front and “Gainsbourg is God” on the back – which is reportedly in reference to Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg’s love affair. Oo, er!

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
