Three Fashion Fringe finalists revealed!

23rd May 2012 10:30 am

Christopher Bailey revealed the three Fashion Fringe finalist at Burberry HQ last night, and we can reveal that they are none other than… give us some X Factor style tension building music and lighting please…

Haizhen Wang, Teija Eioela and Vita Gottleib.

So why those three, you ask?

“They all balanced real creativity and skill with a great intellect and understanding of what it takes to make a business; to build a brand,” Christopher Bailey told Vogue. “That’s what I was really looking for.”

The finalists will now be working hard with the Burberry team and lots of other industry experts to get their collections ready for London Fashion Week in September, which is when the winner will finally be announced.

“Now, I’ll just be looking for them to be learning,” Christopher Bailey continued. “They’ll come here to Horseferry House and work with us so I’d like to see them show an interest in all areas of the business: from personnel and finance, through to textile development and design.”

Congratulations to the three lucky – and no doubt, super-talented – finalists. Watch this space, we predict these names are going to be big!

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
