Tatler taps Cindy Crawford for its all-important September issue

30th July 2012 9:21 am

Who do you get to cover the most important magazine issue of the year?

Of course you turn to the biggest singers, actresses and models as it is they who will help the publication shift more copies. Sometimes it’s the newbies that have just arrived on the scene and are taking the world by storm. And other times it’s the golden oldies – the ones that have been doing it for years and have proved why they are still reigning supreme.

Tatler has gone for the latter option, and has tapped Cindy Crawford, i.e. one of the biggest models of all time, to front its important September issue… and we definitely think the decision paid off.

Not only does 46-year-old (!!!) Cindy look positively smouldering in the main shot, but the cover in its entirety is absolute perfection. We love the colour scheme, the simple layout and the actual headlines surrounding her flawless face. There is nothing more powerful than the solitary word “Cindy” sprawled across the front cover; we cannot wait to get our hands on this issue! Excellent choice!

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
