Candice Swanepoel and her pins pose for Brian Atwood

31st July 2012 10:47 am

As well as starring in that really trippy ad campaign for Prabal Gurung, Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel is also the face – or should we say, legs – of Brian Atwood’s autumn/winter 2012 ad campaign.

It’s hard to believe this is Brian Atwood’s first ever global campaign, but we think tapping a Victoria’s Secret girl was a very smart move to make. Candice was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott under the creative direction of Giovanni Bianco… and she’s definitely no Angel!

And according to WWD, we also have a series of “sexually charged” short films based on “the sex is in the heel” to look forward to, so er… keep your eyes peeled for that one. Do we think this is Fifty Shades of Grey fever in full swing?

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
