We’re super-glad to see that Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are once again sticking with their traditional Italian family theme for the Dolce and Gabbana spring/summer 2013 ad campaign. Possibly one of our favourite concepts for an ad campaign ever – so simple, yet so effective and true to the brand .

Monica Bellucci, Bianca Balti, Bianca Brandolini, Kate King and Zuzanna Bijoch are just some of the faces who were photographed by the designers themselves in the stunning Sicilian resort town of Taormina.

The girls are joined by dapper men and cute, playful children as they pose at the beach in some exquisite pieces from the newest Dolce and Gabbana collection.

We love the snaps, but don’t know how realistic they are in terms of “traditional family snaps”. After all, would you wear your finest designer gear to the beach and risk that pesky sand getting everywhere?
