When it comes to jewellery, often it’s the personal touches that mean the most – having a ring fitted to your finger, choosing the colour stone or the finish, having your initials engraved on the back (if you’re into that schmoozy stuff) – so it’s hardly surprising, really, that us girls find it so hard to be satisfied by a bit of substandard bling.
After all, if you’re going to shell out for it, it needs to be a clasp short of perfect, right? We get ya, girl – and so does Pandora, if the jewellery label’s customisation lab is anything to go by.
Ah yes, the Create Your Own room, where you can build your ring from scratch – almost. With over 50 styles to choose from, Pandora has given shoppers the ability to design their very own ring by placing individual pieces together to create something totally unique.
We’re no mathematicians, but we make that over 3,000 design possibilities. Ok, so we’re no jewellery designers either, as our DIY ring (pictured above) proves, but we had a ruddy good time layering up rings to our heart’s content.
And hey, now that you’ve got it mastered, you can create your own bracelet, too.
You’re probably wondering the price for this kind of customised service. Well, we suppose you’ll be pleasantly surprised to know you only pay for each piece of jewellery you use – so in other words, the function is free.
Pretty neat, huh? So, prospective jewellery designers, we suggest you head on over to Pandora and get creative – it might just make a master crafter out of you yet.
