Gap 'Close'
Can noses be excited? Well ours are. Gap is set to launch it’s first fragrance in the UK next week, called ‘Close’.

Patrick Robinson, the company’s creative director, created the crisp scent which is inspired by the classic Gap wardrobe.

“My team is constantly reworking our formula to keep Gap cool and relevant. That’s the most important thing to me, said Robinson.

“Being sexy is part of that lifestyle, and that was the first criteria for this fragrance. It had to be sexy, sensual and beautiful, he told Elle UK.

Presented in a sleek bottle reflecting a pure white Opal, ‘Close’ will launch next Monday, 19th October, in Gap stores where prices will start at £5.

Speaking of the inspiration behind the bottle’s design, Robinson said, “When I think of Gap, I think of a white shirt, khakis, and a pair of jeans, and all of those colours show up in an opal.

What with Jimmy Choo set to launch a fragrance soon and star perfumer Dominique Ropion behind the Body Shop’s latest scent, we’ll be smelling rather nice for a while.
