Leigh Lezark for DKNY Jeans

It takes a certain type of girl to model for DKNY, but luckily for Leigh Lezark, she fits the fashion bill rather well – the model-come-DJ has just been signed as the face of DKNY Jeans for autumn/winter 2010.

And looking at her predecessors, we can’t say we’re all that surprised by denim brand’s new feat – Lezark follows in the footsteps of Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung, two other model-slash-somethings with an ear for music and an eye for style.

Naturally, DKNY think she’s the perfect fit for next season’s denim collection, having chosen the Misshapes DJ for her unique sense of style which not only has caught the fashion world – and a certain Karl Lagerfeld – by storm, but also embodies the spirit of the brand.

She’s set to star in the label’s latest campaign for autumn/winter 2010, according to Vogue UK, where she’ll be clad in new-season denim and surrounded by her friends for an authentic-looking ‘I’m just hanging with my friends wearing DKNY Jeans’ moment.
