The UK’s premium department store House of Fraser has launched the first ever fragrance from luxury accessories label Jimmy Choo – and with a long list of designer scents already under its belt, it looks as if H.O.F has sealed the deal with yet another aromatic winner.

The perfume, Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum, is a modern fruity Chypre with a zingy citrus and floral aroma, which blends together the exotic Tiger Orchid with sweet toffee and heady Indonesian patchouli in a facetted bottle, capturing the all-empowering nature of Jimmy Choo. Inspired by jewel-coloured Venetian Murano glass, it’s reminiscent of the label’s many crystal-encrusted shoes while the outer box displays the brand’s signature pink snake print design.

“Fragrance has always been part of my vision for Jimmy Choo. To fully extend the Jimmy Choo lifestyle, enveloping the woman with the sensuality and essence of the brand,” says Tamara Mellon, the label’s chief creative officer. “I have always loved wearing perfume; it’s part of my identity. Now to create a signature fragrance for Jimmy Choo expressing an aura of strength and beauty is my ultimate dream.”

As for the ad campaign? Expressing the sexual femininity of the Choo ethos, Ms. Mellon struts her stuff in a pink off the shoulder snakeskin dress, whilst clutching her new fragrance. It was shot by leading fashion photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh, and captures the dynamic, stylish business woman behind the brand to perfection.

Feeling seduced? The fragrance is available now at House of Fraser stores and online.
