Alright we know it’s more than likely we might be in some kind of lockdown this spring (sigh!).
But that doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun with the trends right?
Thankfully, this season designers paid attention to the fact that we’re at home more than ever now. Models were sent down the virtual runways in relaxed, loose pieces.
Best of all, fashion isn’t feeling sorry for itself. Despite everything that’s going on the collections oozed escapism and positivity.
Okay, with that said, let’s get you up to speed on the spring 2021 fashion trends you can wear right now, in the comfort of your home.
1. Lady in red
Yep, spring is known for florals and pastels, but this season, red is vying for attention. Fendi, Chanel, and Valentino all showed their love for the fiery hue. But it was Dolce and Gabbana who did it best with this stunning mid-length dress. Channel your inner red goddess with a t-shirt and a relaxed pleated red skirt like this beauty.

2. Sheer Beauty
We do love a few transparent pieces in our wardrobe, so we’re glad to see sheer is a huge trend for spring. Easy to style, and perfect for Zoom meetings, opt for a slightly sheer blouse like this number from Free People.

3. Monochrome Madness
Just like Beyonce & Jay Z, Harry and Meghan, and let’s not forget David and Victoria, black and white is a formidable pairing for spring. Dolce & Gabbana, Jill Sander, and Ports 1961 were among the many designers who went monochrome mad. Kill two spring trends with one stone with this gorgeous monochrome maxi dress, because yes maxi dresses are also a winner this spring.
As far as prints go, tie-dye can be a bit hit and miss for us. A big trend for spring, give it a go with a grown-up spin. On sale at Debenhams, this satin top (again perfect for Zoom calls) does the job perfectly. Team with joggers and no one will be the wiser. Use these Debenhams discount codes to get money off.

5. Puff it up
What’s spring without a little romance? There’s nothing more romantic than billowing sleeves in soft colours. With puffed sleeves already being revived thanks to the Netflix series Bridgerton, expect to see lots more oversized sleeves as seen on the SS21 catwalks.

Oh, how we wish we could rock bralettes! This is one trend we’re loving but sadly just won’t work for us. If you’re one of the lucky ones who can pull off a midriff-baring bralette, then you’re in for a treat because they’ve been given a glow up. From shimmering bralettes at Simone Rocha to casual sports bras at Celine, the bralette can be dressed up or down.

7. Wide Leg Jeans
We love our skinny jeans, but they’ve had no place in our lives during lockdown. Comfort is key and designers such as Balenciaga and Chloe gave us just that with relaxed-fitting denim.

8. Bright coloured dresses
We need bright colours more than ever. They’re a major mood booster. The spring/summer 2021 collections were packed with attention-grabbing tones like hot pink, acid green, and bright orange. And we’re here for it. Ditch your loungewear for this cute orange smock dress available at ASOS and click here for ASOS discount codes to get money off your purchase.

9. Striped out
Nautical stripes always rear their head in spring, but this time, stripes are bolder, colourful and determined to take center stage. Dior took stripes to another level by clashing striped tops and skirts. Surprisingly it worked! Get your stripes on at home with this comfy jogger set by BedHead.
