First Look: Emma Watson on set at Lancome shoot

15th March 2011 11:52 am

Back in February reports came out that Harry Potter star Emma Watson was set to become the latest face of Lancome, and now we know the rumours were true – the first glimpse of the actress shooting the eagerly-anticipated ad in Paris has just been released.

Shot by critically acclaimed fashion photographer Mario Testino, we see Emma looking every inch the glamorous supermodel – complete with perfectly bronzed skin, thick, bold eyebrows, smoky eyes and pinky coloured lipstick to finish off the brand’s spring/summer beauty look.

Emma is the youngest actress to work with Lancome to date -with previous ambassadors including Uma Therman, Julia Roberts and Isabella Rossellini – bringing a breath of fresh air to its latest campaign, and one they most likely wish to attract a younger audience with, reports Elle UK.

“Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation. We are delighted by this new collaboration with Emma who brings a fresh spirit to Lancôme,” says Youcef Nabi, President of Lancôme International.

All that’s left now is for the ad to air… we’re too excited for words!
