I’ve been lusting after a classic black, caviar Chanel bag for some time now. Whenever I come across someone carrying one, I feel a twinge of envy and admiration. The luxurious look of the quilted lambskin and the signature linked chain and logo just epitomize the style, class and glamour that Coco, herself, embodied.
Even though I can feasibly buy one of these bags, it’s hard for me to rationalize plunking down a few thousand dollars on a handbag, no matter how fabulous and timeless it is. At the same time, I don’t think I will feel fashionably fulfilled until I have my hands on one.

While walking around the Village a while ago, I stumbled across a cute jewelry store called Satya and was intrigued by the general “zen” feel of the place (golden Buddha statue in window and all) and decided to take a peek. With original pieces available in gold or silver, the designs were stylish, affordable and clearly inspired by elements of Buddhism and the yoga practice.

All of my girlfriends are Hanky Panky addicts. After years of having to do “rear view mirror checks” (you know the head-over-shoulder drill) for unsightly underwear lines, or feeling uncomfortable from the cut or fabric of certain brands, it’s nice to have found a solution to all of our panty woes.

Who doesn’t love one-stop shopping? Gap Inc. recently announced that online shoppers will be able to make purchases from all of the stores under their umbrella - Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy and Piperlime – and combine shipping costs at one flat rate of $7!

When I think of vacation, an image of the beach and clear blue waters comes to mind. It doesn’t get much better than laying out by the ocean (with loads of SPF on of course) with a good book in one hand and a daquiri in the other. Now that it’s officially beach season, I’m on the search for a couple of cute caftans to throw into my suitcase as cover-ups.

Fit Flops first made it big last year. Engineered by Marcia Kilgore –the founder of Bliss Spa, the sandals with “microwobbleboard technology” promise greater calorie burn and cellulite reduction simply by walking.
While this sounds too good to be true, there has been a ton of buzz generated from every day women to celebrities, all who claimed to have toned their legs and whittled inches from their thighs and bum simply by walking in these shoes!

Rompers are yet another 80’s throwback making their way back onto the fashion scene. While the pants versions can be pretty hit-or-miss, romper shorts are a less serious look than their longer counterparts and are much easier to pull off. I have a pair that I absolutely love and can easily live in this season.
