Top Fashion Designers Install Art Works - MAY 29 to OCT 2004

English Heritage has invited 12 of Britain’s most innovative and enigmatic fashion designers to respond to the magnificent neo-classical mansion Belsay Hall, it’s 14th century castle and grade 1 listed gardens, with art installations rather than garments. The flagship exhibition, Fashion at Belsay (FAB) will display their art throughout its vast empty rooms and landscaped grounds.

Designers involved in the exhibiton : Clements Ribeiro, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Eley Kishimoto, Julie Verhoeven, Zandra Rhodes, Shelley Fox and Jean Muir
