Lily Allen is jealous of Kate Moss.
The ‘Fear’ singer is envious of her supermodel friend’s “massive” and “amazing” clothing collection.
She said: “Do Kate and I talk about fashion? No, not all the time. She has the most amazing wardrobe though. It’s massive! Have you seen her wardrobe? She has rooms just dedicated to clothes.”
Despite her fascination with fashion and designer labels, Lily - who designed a sell-out line for British high street store New Look in 2007 - says she has no plans to collaborate with the 35-year-old model on a clothing range.
Referring to Kate’s Topshop line, Lily told Britain’s More magazine: “We won’t do a fashion line together. I think she does very well on her own. I’m doing a jewellery range this year though and I’ve done some modelling for someone but I can’t tell you who. It’s very, very good though.

The supermodel - whose first fragrance, Kate by Kate Moss, was a huge success - is to release Vintage by Kate Moss in September and wants to pay homage to her colourful reputation.
She is quoted as saying: “I tried to encompass everything that I feel about being feminine and a bit rock ‘n’ roll, a bit edgy and a bit light, a bit dark.
“I love anything old. except old men!”
The perfume will have a “floriental scent”, which has become very popular in recent months.
Speaking about the latest trend for smoky, oriental smells, Alice Waghorn, from bespoke London perfumer Miller Harris, said: “We’ve noticed more unusual, woody scents becoming very popular recently, and more women are buying Feuilles De Tabac, the number one best-seller among our male clientele. They appeal to customers who like to stand out from the crowd with a raw, strident scent.”
Kate isn’t the only star launching a new fragrance with Coty. Singer Kylie Minogue is set to release her first men’s scent with the French perfume house in August

So you’re a celebrity, and you want to design a collection for a high street retailer. So who do you turn to for advice? Well it must be Kate Moss surely?
That’s what Beth Ditto thought anyway. For her soon to be launched collection for Evans, the Gossip star has been chatting away to Kate:
“Kate gave me loads of advice, there were lots of things I didn’t know about, all the industry stuff like order times and things like that. But she told me just get involved with everything and really push my ideas.”

She’s the model we rarely hear speak, yet we feel as though we know her due to the constant stories and press attention. Well soon we will know Kate Moss very well indeed.
Kate is writing a warts and all book about her life that will expose all goings on and celebrity pals. Sir Richard Branson is particularly excited as it is being published by Virgin Books. It’s rumoured that the book deal for the first book (will there be more than one?) is worth a staggering £1 million. She’d better tell-all for that kind of money. According to Branson:
“It’s going to make an exciting read. She has led a celebrity life to the max.”
Apparently the deal has been on the table for some time, but after the whole cocaine debacle it was put on hold. But now that Kate’s back in favour it is the perfect time to release the book.
There isn’t a launch date set just yet, although I do question how tell-all it will be. After the cocaine taking she may find she won’t get a second chance this time if she really let’s rip. Nonetheless it will be a fascinating book, and will be sure to ruffle a few feathers.
Would you read Kate’s autobiography?

The Costume Institute Gala is tonight. It really is the event of the year, when you can watch the most glamorous starlets dressed in the most creative of gowns. This year the theme is ‘Model as Muse’ and there have been hundreds of rumours over who is dressing who.
This is what we do know: Marc Jacobs and Kate Moss are co-hosting alongside Anna Wintour, Madonna and Victoria Beckham are on Marc Jacobs’ table and that Madonna will be dressed in Louis Vuitton whilst Victoria has opted for Marc Jacobs.
We have also heard that Karl Lagerfeld and Matthew Williamson won’t be attending.

So you want to shoot a swimsuit issue of your magazine and you think ‘who should we get for the cover?’ Then it dawns on you, why have one supermodel when you can have six. This is probably the thought processes that went through the minds of editors of V Magazine when developing their latest issue.

Although she has been facing some stiff competition from Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss always tends to be the first when it comes to trends. Last night Kate was spotted out and about in a Balmain dress hot off the Autumn/Winter 09 catwalks.
She started her evening at Nobu and then headed off for canapés and champagne at Movida nightclub to celebrate the launch of the new White Light diamond, and was joined by lots of lovely celebs including David Walliams, Noel Fielding, Rhys Ifans, Jo Wood and Bobby Gillespie.

We thought Malcolm McLaren’s planned Christian Dior The Musical was a little out there. But it turns out he was just ahead of the designer all singing all dancing game.
For it has been announced that Yves Saint Laurent’s life will be set to music. Singer Alain Chamfort and songwriter Pierre-Dominique Burgaud are working on the score and the musical shall focus on Saint Laurent’s rise to fashion fame. The musical will open with his work at Christian Dior and follow the highs and lows of Yves Saint Laurent’s career.

No it’s not a late April Fool, but instead a very bizarre rumour. What makes it so bizarre is that it isn’t the first time a fashionista has turned her talents to the kitchen.
Earlier in the year we reported that the Council of Fashion Designers America were launching a cookery book. And then I spotted a rather lovely looking Sophie Dahl on the front of her new cookbook.
Clearly home baking is the new black. Kate Moss has apparently been influenced by Stasha Palos, who is the stepdaughter of Sir Philip Green. Stasha has created her own cookbook, and this has sparked Kate into thinking that she should do the same.
